This license governs the use of the software known as RulesPlugin ("Software").
By downloading, installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.
1. Definitions
Software refers to RulesPlugin, including compiled files, source code (if provided), assets, documentation, and updates.
Author refers to CorruptedWindows.
Server Owner refers to any individual or organization using the Software on a Minecraft server.
2. License Grant
The Author grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install the Software.
- Use the Software on one or more Minecraft servers.
- Create backups of the Software for personal or server administration purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred.
3. Allowed Use
You may:
- Use the Software on public or private servers.
- Use the Software for commercial Minecraft servers.
- Share configuration examples and tutorials.
- Include the Software in server setup guides by linking to the official download page.
4. Configuration Permission
You may:
- Modify any configuration file provided with the Software.
- Create custom rule sets.
- Translate configuration files.
- Customize messages, menus, icons, and plugin settings.
Configuration modifications do not create ownership rights over the Software itself.
5. Restrictions
Unless explicitly authorized by the Author, you may not:
- Redistribute modified versions of the Software.
- Re-upload the Software to other download websites.
- Sell, sublicense, or claim ownership of the Software.
- Remove copyright notices.
- Distribute decompiled or modified builds.
6. Redistribution and Mirrors
You may not upload or mirror the Software on third-party websites.
Official distribution channels include:
- Modrinth
- SpigotMC
- Any website explicitly operated by the Author
Direct links to official downloads are always permitted.
7. Ownership
The Software remains the exclusive intellectual property of the Author.
All copyrights, trademarks, branding elements, source code, and associated materials remain the property of the Author.
8. Updates and Support
Updates may be released at the Author's discretion.
Support is provided on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed.
The Author may discontinue development at any time.
9. Termination
This license automatically terminates if you violate any provision of this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must cease distribution of any unauthorized copies of the Software.
10. No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS".
THE AUTHOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AUTHOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- DATA LOSS
- SERVER DAMAGE
- ECONOMIC LOSS
- SECURITY INCIDENTS
- SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
- THIRD-PARTY COMPATIBILITY ISSUES
ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
12. Third-Party Platforms
Nothing in this Agreement limits the rights granted to Modrinth, SpigotMC, or other authorized distribution platforms under their own Terms of Service.
13. Minecraft Disclaimer
RulesPlugin is an independent project.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Mojang Studios, Microsoft Corporation, or Minecraft.
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
